After Harold and Maude

This movie made me think about order and disorder, death, and life.

Regardless of age, mankind has suffered from the oppression of order.

And we humans try to avoid it through passive resistance through self-harm and death.

Perhaps that is the only resistance that human beings who are oppressed in the system can do.

The old woman makes the boy realize that there are various methods of resistance in the world besides self-hatred and torture.

The composition of an old woman who chooses death and a boy who sings of life through the old woman's death gave me a new awakening.

As we get older, we become more and more accustomed to norms and stereotypes.

It was really interesting in that it made me realize what kind of life is really alive in a state like death that makes me give up thinking.

Not suffering is true death, and being awake is living.
